Cancer Symptoms in KIDS
Cancer is more general term used for a disease that is caused by abnormal growth of cells in human body. By and large it is the deadliest disease known because people do not survive through severe cases of cancer. These days it has spread widely in kids as well and not only teenagers but even infants are affected with this disease.
According to a survey conducted in Europe, one out of every 15 kids is born with cancer. This is an alarming ratio and the sad part is ignorance of parents. Most of the parents do not know that their kid is suffering through this deadly disease.
Child with cancer can behave like normal kids because the signs and symptoms do not appear that frequently. Parents have to take care of all the symptoms and make sure that their kid is not left unattended if he has cancer.
The most common type of cancer in kids is leukemia and it appears very frequently in kids.
The symptoms of this type of cancer are also very evident that include fatigue, weight loss, weakness and laziness.
These are few of the most evident symptoms that appear in leukemia and if your kid is experiencing these symptoms then you should contact doctor as soon as possible. Treatment of cancer has always been expensive and very few parents can afford full treatment at their own.
If you are facing financial problems and you cannot afford treatment then you should look for charity programs that support children with cancer. It is not very hard to find these charity programs because there are lots of organizations working globally to support children with cancer. You just need proper guidance for contacting these programs.
Another type of cancer in kids is brain tumor. There are different types of brain tumors and their symptoms are also different. Some tumors are only found in infants while some are found in teenagers and adults. Tumors found in adults are very hard to treat but tumors that appear in kids have more chances of treatment.
Early diagnosis is very important because delay in diagnoses will mean that tumor will become more intense and it can affect important parts of kid's brain.
